I am an Israeli writer and director of Romanian descent, born in Tel Aviv and based in Berlin. My work spans film, television, and journalism, with a strong focus on character-driven storytelling and contemporary social themes.

My journey in film and television began in 2010, when I moved to Berlin to study directing at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (dffb). During my studies, I participated in masterclasses with filmmakers such as Claire Denis, John Waters, and Rafi Pitts, and wrote and directed several fictional short films that were produced by ARTE and RBB.

In 2014, I returned to Tel Aviv, where I worked as a journalist and senior news producer for the international news channel i24news. During this time, I co-developed the political feature film script “TRANSIT LOUNGE” together with director Ziska Riemann and Sam Spiegel Film School graduate Noa Peleg. The project received FFA script funding.

In 2018, I moved back to Berlin to direct my first feature film, “JESSY,” which I co-wrote. The film was produced by RBB and supported by Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg, screened at several international festivals, and received an Honorable Mention at the Achtung Berlin Film Festival in 2022.

A major part of my recent work has been my involvement with the successful ZDFneo series “Doppelhaushälfte.”
Between 2024 and 2026, I directed a total of eight episodes across the fourth and fifth seasons, each 30-45 minutes.

I am currently developing my second feature film, “WIE DIE GORILLAS,” an adaptation of Esther Becker’s successful feminist coming-of-age novel, supported by FFA script funding. In parallel, I was an artist-in-residence at the Cité internationale des arts in Paris, where I began developing my next project, a music documentary, further expanding my work into non-fiction storytelling and research-driven formats.
